Temagami Billfield Occurance

The Billfield Occurance

The Billfeld Occurrence consists of three main zones of shear-hosted gold mineralization. The primary zone includes a rhyolite agglomerate with a shear zone striking east-west, dipping vertically to steeply south, traced over roughly 117 meters. Gold mineralization here occurs with pyrite-rich quartz and carbonate veins, averaging 0.6 meters wide. Historical sampling identified significant gold, including a 35-meter-long zone averaging 11.14 g/t Au, and grab samples ranging from 3.09 to 6.17 g/t Au. Limited historical drilling returned narrow intersections up to 0.43 meters grading between 4.80 and 6.17 g/t Au.

Two additional mineralized zones were identified: one 60 meters south of the main occurrence with carbonate veins, lamprophyre dykes, and irregular mineralization; and another on the Phyllis-Yates township boundary, hosting carbonate veins containing localized pyrite and gold mineralization.
